Emily Manzo and Christy Edwards have been writing songs together since the early 2000s, and have developed a following, which includes producer Joachim Irmler (of legendary Krautrock band, Faust). Recording their albums at his Klangbad studios in Ulm, Germany, the group have forged a songwriting style which melds haunting vocal harmonies with jagged guitar swells and vintage electric piano dreaminess. One of Erik Satie's Gymnopédies does not feel out of place during a surprise appearance in their tune "Lover's Talk."
