DIANE CLUCK RETURNS SHARING NEW SONG "SARA" VIA THE FADER
NEW ALBUM BONESET OUT MARCH 4TH ON IMPORTANT RECORDS
"called Boneset, it's typically raw and affecting, it's grit exemplified as well as anywhere on the mournful "Sara." - THE FADER
After nearly 8 years, Diane Cluck makes a surprising return by sharing "Sara," from her forthcoming full-lengthBoneset (out March 4, 2014 on Important Records) via The Fader. Boneset which is Cluck's seventh full-length and her first since the 2006 release of Monarcana, marks the return of the quietly celebrated neo-folk artist that Devendra Banhart championed as "my favorite singer-songwriter in all of New York City." Cluck often collaborates withCocoRosie, mostly recently on "Haylofts," who also released her Countless Times album through their personal imprint. Sharon Van Etten, Florence Welch (of Florence And The Machine), and Laura Marling have all cited Cluck's work as influential.
"she is likely one of the most refined and elegant songwriters in all of neo-folkdom. A brilliant idiosyncratic guitarist, a witty and wise lyricist, and imaginative melody writer with a powerful voice; her dark and introspective tunes are utterly captivating, sorta like an earthier Kate Bush." - THE VILLAGE VOICE
WATCH/SHARE: "Sara" performed live at Spinning on Air's 25th Anniversary w/ Yoko Ono, Sean Lennon, John Zorn, and Diane Cluck via YouTube.
Boneset is out March 4, 2014 on Important Records. Media can privately stream Boneset via Soundcloud or request a media download via email.
