BAND TO OFFER EXCLUSIVE LIMITED EDITION ITEMS



The Hold Steady's new album Teeth Dreams is now available for pre-order viatheholdsteady.net. Fans who take advantage of the pre-order sales will be rewarded with the option of purchasing a variety of limited edition items, including The Limited Edition Custom Wood Box Bundle containing the CD, a gold foil limited edition vinyl, The Hold Steady bottle opener, an exclusive photo taken by the band, a t-shirt and a hooded sweatshirt. Only 300 of these have been manufactured. Another package offers the gold foil vinyl with a CD, sweathshirt and t-shirt, while another has combination of the vinyl or the CD with a choice of three shirts or the sweatshirt. Copies of the vinyl and CD can be also be ordered individually. There will be 1,000 gold foil vinyl albums available only via the pre-order sale. It will not be available in stores.

The band also released today their covers EP entitled RAGS direct to fans this month via Pledge Music to benefit the K + L Guardian Foundation in honor of devoted fan and concert promoter Mike "Jersey Mike" Van Jura, who passed away in late 2012.

Last week, The Hold Steady released the first song from Teeth Dreams, "I Hope This Whole Thing Didn't Frighten You." Out March 25, Teeth Dreams is the New York band's sixth album and first on its own Positive Jams imprint via new label Washington Square, itself a newly established imprint formed by Razor & Tie. The album was produced by Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Alice in Chains, Rush, Evanescence) at Rock Falcon Studios in Franklin, TN, making it the first time the band recorded outside of New York. This is The Hold Steady's first new music since last year's Record Store Day 7" featuring "The Bear and the Maiden Fair" from HBO's Game of Thrones.

 The Hold Steady is: Bobby Drake (Drums), Craig Finn  (Vocals), Tad Kubler  (Guitar, vocals), Galen Polivka  (Bass) and Steve Selvidge (Guitar, vocals).

They will kick off a string of tour dates in January 2014 that will include two 10th Anniversary shows (tour dates below).
