British Female Icon, KATE NASH will be hitting the road this spring. The post punk singer-songwriter will be performing at various music festivals, most notably Coachella. Check out the dates below:
April 04: Kansas City, MO – Middle of the Map Festival
April 07: Boulder, CO – Fox Theatre
April 11: Indio, CA – Empire Polo Club (Coachella)
April 14: West Hollywood, CA – The Roxy
April 15: San Luis Obispo, CA – SLO Brewing Company
April 16: Visalia, CA – The Cellar Door

Last week, Kate premiered her new video for "Sister" on VEVO. The video has already received praise in the media, including MySpace, who featured "Sister" alongside Beyonce and Rihanna. "Sister" is remniscent of '90s punk rock with a very raw feel to it. Given the subject matter of "Sister," raw and real are qualities definitely needed to portray the bittersweet relationship between two female best friends turned lovers. Kate Nash is not afraid to show any side of herself -- from classy and pretty to gritty and grungy. Nash starts off "Sister" with smooth vocals, before launching into a full on rock whine as the chorus kicks in and reveals the bitter feelings of heartbreak.

"Sister" is the last single off the album GIRL TALK. The album blends so many different styles from different eras, but still remains edgy with relevent lyrics exploring modern sexuality and using tongue-in-cheek humor. Nash spent most of last year on her world tour and will spend 2014 performing at various music festivals this year, most notably Coachella and SXSW.
