"[Sylvan Esso] could sound like deliberately primitive 1970s electro in one song and glitchy, abstract techno in another behind Amelia Meath's teasing voice" - The New York Times

"2014's most intoxicating debut" -NPR

"It's a pleasure and a relief to hear an album like this - a breezy, joyous piece of work, an album that sounds like spring" -Stereogum - Album Of The Week

Sylvan Esso is excited to announce their first-ever US headlining tour, kicking off in Asheville on August 14th, and culminating with a sold-out date at NYC's Bowery Ballroom on September 12th.  Sylvan Esso's self-titled debut was released on May 13th, entering the Billboard Top 200 Chart at #38, and continues to sell at a steady pace.

Sirius XMU has spun "Coffee" over 700 times to date, which is a major element of the band's success story.  The influential satellite radio channel will air a session with Sylvan Esso today at 9pm EST, with replays on June 12, 13, and 15.  An early taste of the session can be heard HERE, where the band takes garage-rock band Porches'"Cosmos" and makes it their own.

The Durham, NC duo recently joined up with Brooklyn four-piece horn outfit Landlady, to perform an exclusive stripped down version of "Hey Mami" for Noisey, which is a must see!  Watch HERE
