European summer tour dates
July 19th-August 31st

We’re pleased to share Lyla Foy’s official video for Mirrors the Sky highlight “Honeymoon,” directed by Mark Donne and Joe Morris. Rookie, who premiered the clip, had this to say, “While listening to Lyla Foy’s debut full-length album...it’s difficult not to drift off into a daydream. Lyla sings with a soft, ethereal quality over sparse, twinkly electronic sounds that float into the back of your mind and nestle there, as you can see in this dreamy video for the single “Honeymoon (see premiere & interview July 14th).”

Lyla Foy’s previously announced European tour dates in support of Mirrors the Sky, resume July 19th in Glasgow, UK at Classic Grand (with Phosphorescent) and currently end with a two-night stand on August 30th & 31st in North Dorset, UK at End of the Road Festival. Additional highlights include:August 1st in Katowice, PL at OFF Festival’s Sub Pop stage;  August 13th in Zurich, CH at Maag Halle supporting the National.  Please find a complete list of tour dates below.

In related news, Lyla Foy recently visited New York’s WFUV to perform “Honeymoon” and “Impossible,” on a recent tour stop in support of Mirrors the Sky (see June 30th session).

What people are saying about Lyla Foy:
Foy’s songs are both lush and low-key, intimate and surprisingly intricate. She layers beats generously but carefully, alternating between buoyant (“I Only”, with its percolating intro) and bittersweet (“Only Human”, with its insistent snare tap). Except on the relatively aerodynamic “Feather Tongue”, which could easily be remixed into a throbbing dance number suitable for a meadow rave, Foy’s concern isn’t rhythm but texture and tapestry. The tempos are generally slow and rigid, which  fits the general atmosphere of the record and gives you a better opportunity to admire her craft.” - Pitchfork

“Her full-length debut, Mirrors the Sky, is a sensitive and stirring excursion through stormy relationships, showcasing Foy's dreamy vocals.” - WFUV

“If you mix Kate Bush vocals with Postal Service sounds, the result would be Lyla Foy.” - All Songs Considered

'...think of an indie Kate Bush, Foy's voice both thrilling and soothing and winds definitely and occasionally desperate romanticism around the colliding worlds of folk and electro pop. - Q Magazine

“...Her silken, sultry vocals are barley there at times, but commands great emotional power, from the desolate swooning of “Honeymoon” to the voluptuously tragic “Warning” - Uncut Magazine

“Thoughtful, slow burning dream pop from the Londoner who alloys Lana Del Rey's cheek-sucking gothic romanticism to Feist's cerebral folk dexterity on cool, accomplished but still minimal sounding debut.” -  Mojo Magazine

"Mirrors the Sky is a beautiful debut by an incredibly talented musician who has very bright prospects for the future" - The 405

"It's warm, pretty, and quite often stunning" - This Is Fake DIY

"It’s an astral display of how elegant, melodic and emotional pop can be" - Music OMH

"There’s no denying the talent at play here" - Drowned In Sound
