LIARS have unveiled their own remix for new single, “I’m No Gold”, out on November 4th, 2014. Listen to the “Thanks For The Remix” remix here. Also, watch Angus Andrew’s hallucinatory anguish in the new video for “I’m No Gold,” directed by Laurie Lynch (Secondcity, Odysseus) here.
In addition, the band have announced details of the line up for their sold out headline London specially curated night at the Village Underground on Saturday November 1st, which marks their first UK show since the release of Mess.
The Village Underground club night is part of Illuminations, a series of art, music and film events in London (http://illuminationslondon.com/). Support will come from Vessel, Luke Abbott and Roll The Dice live with DJing from Illuminations and Mute founder Daniel Miller.
“I’m No Gold”, taken from Liars’ latest album Mess, will include a remix from Mute’s Daniel Miller, plus two exclusive new tracks - Poison Bender and At The Mercy Of Her Mind - full tracklisting below.
Mess - the follow up to 2012's WIXIW - is an angry, ecstatic, primal burst of ritualistic electronics that sacrifices self-persecution for potent, purposeful abandon and sees Liars if maybe not quite at ease with the world, then at least staring it straight in the eye and showing their teeth. |
