Irontom to Perform in Los Angeles on December 3rd at The Roxy

“It’s like Led Zeppelin and the Beatles had a baby, and it was raised by wolves.”
– Charlie Sheen

“Irontom is as serious as a sledgehammer, and its riffs land like one.” – Buzzbands.LA

Premiering with more of a yell than a whisper, Los Angeles based five piece Irontom are here to turn the rock scene on its head. Their lead single “The Minista” is proof of this mission. Today the official music video for the single was unmasked on Rolling Stone and as a bonus the band is offering a free download of the track on their website.

The music video for this single is one that begs to be watched over and over again. Irontom drew inspiration from a 1970’s Rothschild family party in Los Angeles and the visuals in the video also pull heavily from the likes of Dali and Magritte. Working with one of the best make-up artists in Hollywood, David LeRoy Anderson, Irontom were able to create a visually stunning companion to one of the most fun songs you’ll hear this fall. Of course, the eye-catching makeup, dazzling costumes, and surprise cameo by the one and only Charlie Sheen also contribute to its impact.

Irontom is made up of Harry Hayes on lead vocals, Zach Irons on guitar, Dane Sandborg on bass, Daniel Saslow on the keys, and Dylan Williams on drums. While their music is a good preview of what to expect from these newcomers, to get the full Irontom experience Harry Hayes insists that you have to “experience the band on a concert stage” where he employs dance moves even funkier than those showcased in this music video.

Sheen and Anderson aren’t the only heavyweights in the ring for Irontom. This single, as well as their next two, are all produced by Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Jack Irons of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Pearl Jam. And no, it’s not a coincidence that the producer and the guitar player have the same last name. They’re father and son. Zach says, "My dad and I have been playing together since I was a young kid. It makes perfect sense for us to collaborate. Musically, we have a perfect understanding of each other.”

Be on the look out for more Irontom songs to be revealed shortly.
