Hundred Waters have announced an ambitious new version of last year's critically acclaimed sophomore album The Moon Rang Like a Bell comprised entirely of remixes, due out on OWSLA onFebruary 17. Tapping a plethora of like-minded, forward-thinking musicians and producers the final work consists of remixes and reconceptualizations by Plaid, Huxley, Illangelo, Brandt Bauer,Shigeto, Kodak to Graph, and reworkings by members of the band among others (full tracklist below). The album is graced by an imaginative cover art "remix" of the original album art, rendered as a real-life diorama. The release arrives just days after the start of a headlining US tour that kicks off inLos Angeles at El Rey Theater on February 13 - full dates below.
The band are also pleased to announce a rescheduled date for their appearance on The Late Show With David Letterman, now slated for February 11. The original date was postponed when the group were caught stranded in a torrential snowstorm in northern New York while on tour with Interpol last November.
