Blossoms, the Manchester-based, five-piece band tipped as ones-to-watch by leading U.K. press are bringing their psyche-pop riffs to North American shores this spring for SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas.

They are among six hand-selected acts set to play at the BBC Introducing and PRS for Music Foundation’s official showcase at Latitude 30 on Wednesday, March 18, 2015.

With a range of audible references – from the Stone Roses to The Doors – Blossoms has already topped theSpotify Viral top 50 Charts in the UK with their latest offering “Cut Me and I’ll Bleed”. The track, already gaining significant support from BBC Radio, prompting prestigious publications such as Q Magazine to tipBlossoms as the “Next Ones To Explode in 2015.

The band released their debut single "Blow" earlier this year (view the video here) and soon caught the attention of The Coral’s James Skelly who invited them in to record an EP. The first official single from their time in the studio with Skelly is the infectious, psych-infused “Cut Me and I’ll Bleed.”

After a sell-out tour last fall, Blossoms continue to pack venues across Europe with select dates in the U.S and Japan on the horizon. Be sure to catch Blossoms at this year SXSW Festival. More details to come.

 
All five members – Tom Ogden (Vocals/Guitar), Charlie Salt (Bass), Josh Dewhurst (Guitar), Joe Donovan (Drums) and Myles Kellock (Keys) – hail from the city of Stockport in Manchester, U.K.
