FEATHERS TO RELEASE DEBUT ALBUM IF ALL NOW HERE
ON MAY 28TH
UK TOUR BEGINS ON MAY 16th AT THE GREAT ESCAPE FESTIVAL
May 9, 2013 - New York, NY – After a massively successful SXSW where they opened for their heroes Depeche Mode, Austin, TX four-piece Feathers will return to the UK for a full run of shows this month. The band just completed a US tour with Little Boots in Chicago last night.
Feathers debut album If All Now Here will now arrive on May 28th.
The group is the work of singer-songwriter Anastasia Dimou (Cruel Black Dove). The band lineup features bassist Courtney Voss (Missions), keyboardist Kathleen Carmichael and drummer Jon Minor, as well as alternating members Destiny Montague (Shock Cinema/Midnight Masses) and Alex Gehring (Ringo Deathstarr). Dimou has been described as having a bold live persona, bringing a sense of mystery and a raw voice to a backdrop of pop melodies and beats, making the unique sound of Feathers.
