Available now, the five-song full-throttle EP is about to become the soundtrack to your summer. To celebrate the release, They've dropped the video forWhoa today. You can check it out from the link below.
Their new EP "Whoa" is a mix of pop punk, synthed-out arpeggiated rhythms, and a bunch of Rad-itude. BWCW's home turf is the legendary alley-way all-ages venue The Smell, located in downtown Los Angeles. Home to bands like No Age, HEALTH, Best Coast, Bleached, and The Mae Shi (Jeff from The Mae Shi now plays guitar in BWCW), Batwings Catwings were also formed from that same smelly alley. Despite the filth, BWCW comes out gleaming with shiny rock songs that are undeniably catchy. Their live shows (recently sharing tour dates with METZ, CSS, and Tilly & the Wall) are fronted by Dana Poblete, "an everygirl with the ability to entrance audiences with her frenetic energy and deceptively powerful howl" (-AltarTV), The other four dude-bros are all seasoned LA music scene staples whom carry on that ecstatic energy that you can come to expect from Batwings Catwings.
